Missing You - different poems
Good Morning
I'd like to share reading with you different poems
Hope you like my choices.
(1)
I Miss You
by Eleanor
I know it hurt you
It hurt me too,
But now that you are gone,
All I know is I miss you.
You were there for so long,
I never thought you would leave.
I thought you had so many years,
waiting up your sleeve.
That day you left,
Was the saddest of my life
I remember going home,
And crying all night.
I might be selfish,
But I wish you were still here.
Or if you stayed,
For at least one more year.
I know you loved me,
I still love you too,
So Im trying to be good,
Just for you.
I know Im not perfect,
I never will be.
But I hope your up there,
Proud of me.
You had to let go,
Even though you were holding on for so long
But theres not a day I dont think of you,
And how you were so strong.
You never complained,
Or said why me?
You just knew,
That thats the way it was meant to be.
So I just want to tell you,
Even though I still cry,
That I miss you so much,
And Im glad you said goodbye.

Missing You

You were on my mind when i woke up this morning
remembering your smile
i guess the next time i'll see your face
will take a little while
i was remembering your arms around me
love the way they always feel warm
with you by my side
i completely feel no harm
i was remembering your voice
makes my heart skip a beat
but without you baby
my whole body's weak
i was remembering our times
the good and the bad
the funny times when you cheered me up
and especially the sad
remembering your eyes
how they always meet mine
remembering all the little things you do
to make my life worthwhile
i was wondering when we'll be together
just us two
i guess i'm missing you more than i usually do

I think how things have changed
Ever since you entered it
My whole life's re-arranged
But I wish that i could see you sooner than i can
It's like you're a movie star
And i'm your biggest fan
But I miss you
Like i miss the sun on a rainy day
Like i miss the moon when it goes away
But the sun and the moon
don't mean nearly as much to me
As you do
I could live without them But i need you
And i miss you
Now that we're so far apart
I love you even more
Maybe we both love too much
But, hey, that's what friends are for
It's not that i pitty you
But I'll admit your life's been tough
I just wish that physically
I could be there when things get rough

Love is bluebirds flying by.
I love you,
You love me too.
Together there is nothing we cant do.
Youre sweet and special,
Nice and neat,
Youre like a great big birthday treat.
If I need you, youre always there,
A friend to lean on a friend who cares.
You have always been friendly,
you have Always been kind,
Especially when i can not make up my mind.

I thank heaven every day for the gift of you and your love,
and I hope and dream of our future together

Those good old days
Those days of happiness
When everything went your way
I want you to cherish these memories
I don't want you to let them go
And I hope they make you happy
As they did so long ago
I wish I could comfort you
Shield you from life's pain
I wish I could just give you everything
You definitely deserve something to gain
You've always told me not to give up
Well here is a lesson for you
If you ever need me, call
That is all you have to do
You've been through so much these days
I'm sure God has something planned out
But in order to see it
You cannot be blinded by doubt
So help me help you
Tell me everything you're going through
Let go of all these troubles
Because the more you hold on the more it doubles
Please, I can see your smile fading
I can hear your voice crack
You may not be near
But you know I got your back
In the past I wasn't always there
Give me a chance this time
I swear on my life I'll be right beside you
To save the emptiness in your mind

How could you turn your back on me when I screamed your name so loud?
How could you let me fall away from you, did you get too proud?
How could you watch as I died a gruesome death and broke apart?
How could you walk away from me, or were you never really there to start?
How could you be so cruel to me when all I ever tried to do was fit in?
How could you be so hypocritical when I spoke my secrets from deep within?
How could you have said those things and pretended that they were true?
How could you have meant them all-I don't understand what you're trying to do.
How could you pull the floor from beneath me when I just learned to stand?
Please, could you just explain this to me, Because I don't understand..
How could you play this game of pretend and play the part of a friend?
How could you be so thoughtless, how could you want this all to end?

Never Say Goodbye
I feel the time is getting close,
When we will have to part.
Ill show that I'll miss you,
With last words from my heart.
We must be dreaming,
For it has gone to fast.
The time we have spent together,
Will soon be in our past.
I'll forget this day is coming,
Today I stand here.
Trying to tell you,
How much I really care.
We'll go our seperate ways,
And I'll make it if I try.
Just hold on to our memories,
Say Never, Say Goodbye!!!
